Happy Wednesday! This week’s weekly inspiration comes from 1 Thessalonians 5:18-
“In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
These last couple days I have spent in a very small town due to work. Being a complete city gal, I’m convinced that this is the closest to camping that I will ever get! The nearest store is about 20-30 minutes away, including any restaurant, gas station, etc. Houses are miles apart, and most food places are closed Monday- Wednesday. Needless to say, I am for sure not used to this! For example, I have never even once considered how having wifi is a blessing, in which it is. Some people don’t have wireless internet, in which I am just used to having. For the last 3 days, I have been jumping up & down if I even have gotten close to 2 bars, which has only happened for about 2 seconds.
This week, my challenge for you is to try to be more thankful! Being in the forest this week (haha!) has for sure put me into the mindset that I am so blessed to have simple things that never cross my mind, such as wifi. Be sure to thank God on a regular basis for all things, both big and small. So many things that might seem normal to you (& me!) are seen as a privileges to others. With Thanksgiving being just last week, we have lots to be thankful for & many amazing things to reflect on that have happened throughout our lives this past year!
