Happy Wednesday! This week’s wardrobe Wednesday comes from Mark 16:6-
“Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here”
Easter has always been my favorite holiday. The story of Jesus’ resurrection is one of love, grace, & compassion for every human being. I love everything about Easter, from the time of the year Easter is, to the Easter colors that always make their way into the holiday (yellow, baby blue, etc.)- I am simply an Easter fanatic! During this week, I am always reminded how Jesus died not only for our sins, but to ensure he would always be with us as well. Through trials, through good times, through bad times- he is risen! This holiday is so much more than going on egg hunts, going to see annual Easter plays, and gathering with family. Easter is the day where Jesus rose to give us life again.
This week, my challenge for you is to rise above negativity and remember the good! Jesus did not die for us to live in sadness, fear, or discomfort. Jesus died so that we could all live- to the fullest! Over the week, be sure to celebrate God for simply being God & always being there. Thank him for the ultimate sacrifice that allows us to live our lives knowing that we have a God that loves us unconditionally!
Until next time!
