Happy Wednesday! This weeks weekly inspiration comes from 1 Peter 4:10-
Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.
So many times growing up- we were always taught in church to strive to find your “purpose” in life. It was taught that your purpose for living were all the things you are on earth to do. Something that has really stuck out to me the last few years that should go along with this teaching is that everyone’s purpose is different and no two are the same. We all have different gifts, different talents. No two people share the same story & everyone’s journey has a different ending.
1 Peter 4:10 reminds us that were are all on earth for different reasons! Our gifts and talents are all different so that we can all accomplish great things together, not in competition. It’s so easy to compare ourselves to others these days- with social media as big as it is it’s easy to compare our own lives to someone else’s highlight reel. Don’t do that! Easier said than done (obviously!), but always remember that the gifts, talents, dreams & desires that God has placed in your heart are yours & yours alone.
