Happy Wednesday! This weeks weekly inspiration comes from Psalm 4:8-
“In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.”
So many Pastors recently have been talking about one thing: rest. Resting in todays’ society is so so hard ya’ll! There’s always so much to do. Resting for me was for sure when I took a blog-cation (more about that here), but for others, it doesn’t have to be something so drastic. Resting for some can mean checking you emails a day late- or putting your phone down early one night. Resting for others can mean something more drastic, such as taking a week off of work to do absolutely nothing- or even traveling somewhere alone.
Whatever resting means to you, my challenge for you this week is to rest! Remember that resting does not mean slacking or missing out on anything, resting only means preparing for something great!
