I am totally a fan of second layers and could ‘t resist this bomber when I came across it about a month ago. With my favorite color being green, I saw it as a sign that I had to have it (haha)! This second layer has been on rotation all winter due to the ever changing weather in Houston & has slowly began to creep into my early spring wardrobe as well. It’s the perfect second layer for shift dresses as well as a night out on the town. Another thing I really love about this bomber is that it’s so comfy. It’s a great addition to my over-sized shift dress paired with converse & I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Speaking of shift dresses, this one is pretty great too! I’ve had it forever now (about 2 years) & haven’t given it up yet. Recently, I’ve began cleaning out my closet more often and getting rid of things that I don’t wear enough. Basically, if I don’t wear it all season, or if I haven’t taken the tag off yet & it’s been in my closet for a while, I give it away. This is really helping me in terms of my “minimalist goals” for the year and has also made organizing my closet a lot easier! My striped shift can be worn most seasons by adding different accessories. For this outfit, as stated earlier, I kept it really simple and casual.
