OMG, could 2019 be going by any faster? I seriously don’t even know how its already June & halfway through the year! Plusss it’s already so, so hot here in Houston- it’s for sure going to be a hot summer. I honestly don’t know if I’m ready for that yet, LOL! If anything, I am just trying to soak up alll the Spring I can get!

During summer time, I for sure a more of a “long shirt, short shorts” kind of gal’. I am alwaysss cold (yes, even in HTX), so even during warmer months I like being a little covered up. Plus, I’m always looking for tops that I can wear both in the office & out with the gals! This top I got recently from my Nordstroms Trunk Club is so perfect for this time of the year- its’s lightweight fabric & can easily transition from day to night! One thing I really like about it too is that it’s not too long length wise, so it’s easy to tuck in.
These shorts are my absolute favorite, they’re not too short as I’ve said before & they’re the perfect denim color. I wear these casually running errands with some sneakers, or throw on some heels to go out with the girls. Multi-use things are soo my go to, I’ve gotten to the point to where if I can’t wear things multiple ways I honestly don’t want them in my closet, ha! And these shoes- LOVE! I got them last Summer & always get so many compliments on them since I’ve bought them & have no regrets at all. They’re a great neutral color so can be worn with basically anything.
Needless to say, I’m ready for summer! Give me allll the white wine, rooftop bars, pool days & fun floats! What’s your favorite thing about summer?
