Londyns “Wild One” first birthday party!

The long awaited blog post is here & I’m sharing all the details of Londyns first birthday party that was last month! Since we ended up being in Houston for her birthday and we were in a rental at the time, we ended up having to book a venue and the whole thing for her party. Although we didn’t plan on it- we had a party with family & friends that came from all over to celebrate her day. Even though it was stressful leading up to the event, I would do it again in a heartbeat. Most of the party decor was even from, etsy, amazon or target!

The venue I booked had tables, chairs, etc. so I didn’t worry about most things like that and focused on the decor. I planned every detail of her party myself, from the invitations and favors down to the place settings. I am going to link literally everything here, so keep reading below!

For the invitations, I decided to go digital. I actually made my own using canva, but etsy has a lot of options in case you don’t want to do this. I went with the “wild one” theme but instead of safari, did wildflowers as the decor & it came out so cute! I got soo many compliments on the theme and how it was brought to life.

All decor was a combination of things that I had at home + amazon finds. I used picture frames from Target and Amazon to put photos of Londyn all around (I also used one for her milestone poster) and made the place settings with things from there too! The table clothes I got were pink & I bought mustard runners to add some color and then added some daisy confetti on the tables to bring it all together. Since I didn’t have time (..& also didn’t want spend the money) to book a florist, I bought pink vases off of Amazon & got flowers from Central Market for all of the centerpieces.

I used two vendors for the event- a balloon company (the same one that I used for my baby shower) and a soft play company for Londyns ball pit. She had SOO much fun in that thing and even then big kids that were there had fun playing in the soft play area.

Overall, I am so happy with the way that her party turned out and am soo happy with the theme that we chose and how it all came together. I linked everything that I got over on my amazon storefront + my LTK!

XO,

B
