Keeping my Melanin Protected with Alba Botanica

Hello, checking in! I have been a bit MIA lately ( all for good reason of course), as I have been getting ready for my trip to China! I decided to take a little break before I left to prepare for my upcoming work trip to make sure I was fully prepared. I have promised to not go as totally MIA as I did last year, so be sure to keep up with all my adventures via my Instastories! I’m so excited to be here in China for the next few weeks. As soon as I checked the weather, I noticed that it was going to be around 80-90 the entire time (YAY!). I am beyond ready for some warmer weather, especially after being in Ohio last week visiting my family. I packed all of my essentials, including my Alba Botanica Hawaiian Coconut Clear Spray SPF 50. This is a sponsored post in partnership with Alba Botanica and Her Campus Media. All words and opinions are my own.

I love being able to share about brands that are botanically based & that’s just what this brand is! Alba Botanica makes 100% vegetarian products that are simply amazing. I have used this brand before & liked it so much that I decided to try it again, this time with some new products. Even though I don’t go in the sun much, when I actually do, I make sure that my melanin is fully protected! One this I really love about this product is that it’s a spray! I know I’m not the only one who doesn’t like greasy hands after putting on sunscreen. The other thing I love is that it’s water resistant for up to 80 minutes and broad spectrum protection. Besides, it’s also a plus that the packaging is even cute (LOL).

After being in the sun, I always like to give my skin some extra love so I also brought along the Alba Botanica Hawaiian Detox Warming Mud Mask. This face masks feels soo good on your skin and is hypo- allergenic. It also warms naturally, priming pores for maximum extraction of yucky stuff! Needless to say- this face mask feels great! I brought both with me to make sure my skin was fully taken care of while I was away from home, but I’m pretty sure that I will be adding them to my weekly skin regimen as soon as I return home!

Until Next Time!
