Self Care Sunday Tips: How I like to enjoy my Sundays

Do you relax on Sundays, or run errands? I’ve always done a little bit of both but I always makes sure to spend some time for myself too! Below I’m sharing some tips to make sure you have the best Self-Care Sunday, AKA a Sunday well spent!

Do something just for YOU

Whether it’s a Target Run, a Starbucks splurge or something else- make sure you do something that is only for you and makes you happy. Taking time to do this on Sunday gives you something to look forward to throughout the week & also allows you to remember that you’re important to, no matter how busy you are.

Get a head start on the week

Another thing I like to do on Sundays is get prepared for the week! I’ve talked a lot over on my instagram how I live by my Agenda & Sundays are normally the day that I write my to-do lists for the week. I love doing this because it allows for a less stressful Monday since I did all of my weekly preparation the week before. Some ways that I do this are:

  1. Make a list of all meetings that I know I for sure have that week
  2. Make a “priority” list of things that I for sure need to get done first within the week
  3. Make a list of “random” things that are not “due” but still things that I want to get done

Laundry, Clean & Relax= My Self Care Sunday recipe

Cleaning has always been such a relaxing thing for me! I love nothing more than a clean house, including the smell of cleaning supplies (ha!). Throughout the week I make time to do small loads of laundry, etc so I don’t have much to do by the time Sunday comes. Because of this, I have more time on Sundays to relax versus having to worry about cleaning the house, etc. I still save some things for Sunday, like vacuuming because I like it, but not too much. Remember- Sundays are a day of rest!

What are some thing you do to have a relaxing Self Care Sunday?

XO,

B
