Weekly Inspiration- Jeremiah 31:25

Happy Wednesday! Wow- it’s been a long (might I add: very long) time since I have done a weekly inspiration! Honestly, actually brutally honest- I have just not felt very inspired lately. I have had a tighter calendar than I know what to deal with & no time for literally anything. But, I decided to change that. Actually- it didn’t really change, I just decided to take some time for myself doing some things that I want to do. I came across this verse this week & just had to share!

“For I will satisfy the weary soul, and every languishing soul I will replenish.” – Jeremiah 31:25

I just love this! If this is not an exact representation of how I am feeling, than I don’t know what is. In this verse are two words that I know some of us can for sure relate to (weary & languishing). I mean, I feel that the word “languishing” is a bit dramatic- but ya girl has for sure been feeling a bit weary lately. I wish I could just show ya’ll my agenda- it’s a hot mess. It’s filled with so much randomness & to-do lists that it honestly gives me a headache just looking at it, lol. It’s times like these that I realize that I just have to just take it one day at a time. I am a firm believer in to-do lists, but even those have been a bit overwhelming this week.

This verse reminds us that not only is it normal to be “weary & languishing”, but it is 100% okay. If you think about it- it’s expected to feel thing way sometimes- I mean at the end of the day we are all human anyways..right?! This week, whenever you are feeling a bit overwhelmed, my challenge for you is simple: remember this verse. Remember that you are not the only person feeling this way & that it won’t last forever. God is always there to give you strength, even when you don’t really feel that way.

Until Next Time!
